Why You Need This: In this video, you'll learn how to hit clean pitches.
The key is to not let your clubface roll over. And if you can work on that, you'll hit more consistent pitch shots.
In your backswing, you can get a little wrist hinge but you don't want the clubface to roll back much.
And as you swing through, make sure you hold the clubface square.
Don't roll your release like you would in a full swing.
In the video, you'll learn the Square Face drill to put all these tips together.
Here's a quick summary of the drill you'll learn...
Start with taking swings with just your right hand on the club.
Next, do the same with the left hand only.
Keep in mind that left hand only will likely be more difficult than using the right hand only.
Finally, finish the drill with both hands.
Stay connected by bringing the club through with your body rotation, keep the clubface square...
And you'll improve your consistency!
