All right. I hit one about as good as I can. As a string there. And I have got a really cool device for you. This called the divot board. And I'm very excited about this. One of the coolest golf training aids that I've ever seen. And what it does is it has these little sequins on here to wear whenever I make a swing, it turns those sequins over and makes it white.
So you can see here, I started to make contact with the ground right where the golf ball is. And then my divot was pretty square coming forward. If I'd hit a little bit of a slice, that would have gone to the left. If I hit a little bit of a draw, it would have kind of gone out to the right like that.
That's going to tell me what my swing path is going to tell me where I'm hitting the golf ball. It's going to tell me some other cool stuff that I'm going to go over in this video, but pretty daggone, neat training. And this is actually one that I'm going to kind of lead off. Top Speed Golf Training Aid Reviews on what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you my pure, honest opinion about exactly what I think about training aids.
So I'm going to tell you, if it's a if it's out of one out of ten, if it's a two. I'm going to tell you if it's a two. And I've got a few products that I think are nines, which are basically everybody should have those those products. So this one's really cool. I'll give you the score at the end of this, but let's go over some really neat things that it does.
So like I said, it's got sequins on here. And when I make a swing, those sequins are going to turn over. So if I hit one like that, you're going to see that I hit a good four or five inches behind the golf ball. It's going to tell me that it's a chunk. If I hit one where the divot starts kind of at the golf ball, it's going to be a pretty solid shot.
So really anywhere that starts just slightly behind the golf ball because the ball setting up in the turf a little bit, that's a pretty doggone good shot. That's basically how you want to hit one. If my divot starts a little bit in front of the golf ball. It'll just be a hair thing. But really, anywhere in this range right here is a pretty daggone, good, solid golf shot.
So if you can practice every day and get to where you can get your club in a right there, you're going to be hitting it really well. One of the things that I've seen that really helps with that is what I call the stable fluid span. So a lot of times what players will do is set up with their spine angle vertical.
Then they start to get a little sway in the back swing and then we realize I can't really hit a golf ball from here. If I'm leaning to the target, I'm going to chop down on it. So we reverse and fall back and then all of a sudden we kind of fall back and drop kick the ball So we get a little bit of this action and then all of a sudden we're hitting five, six, seven inches behind the golf ball.
What I want you to do is feel like you get a little bit more tilt at address so your head is looking behind the golf ball. I have a little tilt away from the target, and then from there I can kind of rotate around that as I'm hitting. So this is my spine. I'm kind of rotating around that.
And this board, this divot board is going to give me immediate feedback to know if I'm doing that very well. If I have the reverse pivot I'm going to see some of those do it starting back here or some divots that completely missed the board altogether. So it's one of those things where if you're wanting to work on your swing, it's great to have this immediate feedback, to know if the feeling that you're having with your swing is actually going to relate to a good, solid hit golf shot.
Now, with this board, all the training is our review. Pretty much everybody sends since we're training aids, they're going to offer me some type of a commission for being any of the sales that we get. So if I do a great review here, I'll give you a link to where you can buy one of these if you want one and they throw me a few dollars, that helps us to grow the channel and make great videos for you guys.
Keep on putting out good content, so it helps us out and you get a great product at the same time. But like I said before, they pretty much all do that. And some of the ones that I don't like very much give me a high commission and I could probably make quite a bit of money, a lot of money actually, by promoting products that I don't believe in.
But you'll see, I want to get some really low ratings to products that I could make good money off of. I want to stay honest to what's going to help you and your golf game. So that's going to be kind of the number one thing when I'm looking at training aids. Does this help somebody to get better? Is this going to actually help you play better golf?
And if it doesn't, I'm not going to recommend it. If it does, I'm going to give it a really good high rating. Now, one of the great things about the sport is it it's universal It's great for everybody because it doesn't matter if you're an over the top slice player and the divot is coming across the board like this, you're going to be able to use this for to improve.
Now, for a player like that, let's say you're struggling with that slice. I would like to get your entire body set up to help you get a draw. What I would do there and let's go ahead and remove this swipe there and we'll try a few things out that'll get us in a position to where we can hit more inside out.
I would want you to get a little bit stronger of a grip. So a lot of times when I see a player that slices the hand is on top like this. I would like for you to get your hand a little bit more under. That's going to get your right elbow a little lower. Than your left elbow. And that's going to promote a shoulder angle.
That's going to help me swing a bit more inside out or swinging out to the right. That's that kind of shadowing it out, getting the club from the inside. What everybody does when they hit and I struggle. So if I'm going over the top slice player, I start to see these slices happening on this board and they're going from right to left like that.
I know that's an issue. So now I'm going to make some adjustments and see if I can hit some more draw type paths. So here, let me go and put another golf ball on here. And I'm going to swing out to the right by making a few simple adjustments. I'm going to line up a little bit more to the right instead of being square.
I'm going to go slightly to the right I'm going to get my right hand under a bit and I'm going to get my right elbow tucked in. Now, that gets me in a position to where it's easy to swing inside out. So here I'm going to try to play a nice draw and we'll see if my radar shows me doing that.
So let's go ahead and try to play a nice power draw on this one.
There we go. So here that ball, turn it over from right to left. And if I look down at this board, look at the inside of this, so slightly behind it. But again, remember, if you hit this a little bit behind it, that's completely fine because the ball sitting up in the turf. Now, if you look at the inside of this, you'll notice that the inside of my club is almost touching the edge of the mat here.
And then as I swung forward, it goes farther out to the right. So we can see when I'm hitting this one, that's that inside out path and if we look up, sure enough on the screen, that ball drew from right to left. I got that ball to start to the right. Now, if I had a player that that has opposite problem, maybe you overdraw it a little bit.
I would try to get a little bit different set up a little bit more vertical. So maybe you're overdoing it in your way over here like this and really getting to the inside a little too much. I would tone down that on that a little bit until you get those divots nice and square as you're coming through there.
So I'd want to see the edge of my divot to be square the entire time or the green to the edge of it to be uniform the entire way. That would be a nice straight stripe. So it doesn't matter if you slice if you hit it straight, if you draw whatever your problem is, it's going to be great to improve it when you're using the sport.
If you chunk, if you thin, there's no better training aid than this more to help you with that. Now, the other thing that we can do here is work on heel down and toe down. And what this means if you stand up so let's say that I come out of my posture, I get a little steep and I stand up out of the shot. Well, now all of a sudden I'm going to get these these kind of toe down marks to where you'll see that the toe of my club actually came in first and started turning over seconds before the heel of my club did. And what that seen as my toe was down. Or if you can imagine, if this is square and flush with the ground, I kind of raised up out of my posture.
My club chef's got more vertical like this in the toe of my club, dug into the turf early so you can see how the heel would be off the ground there. When I'm talking about that, almost every player does that. And this board again is going to give you some feedback on that. So it's give me feedback on my contact point.
It's giving me feedback on whether I'm swinging squarely. It's also giving me feedback on whether or not I'm coming in with it. So perfectly level. Now, for players who were doing that, then I would have them feel like they're coming in and they're getting their weight back, almost like they're sitting in a chair here, getting the handle lower and feeling like the heel hits first.
And now we can see that's a nice square to see how the middle of the club is turning over and it's uniform on both sides. I'm not getting the toe of the clubs at first and getting this kind of angled divot that looks something like that. That would be toe first, then heel this would be more square. If it looks something like like that where it's kind of square across the board like this direction.
So this is really going to help you with that. That, too. So there's all kinds of things you can do with this one little board that helps you to become a better golfer, which is why I like it a lot. Now, there's some disadvantages to it. I wish it was a little bit water maybe. Sometimes when you're seeing me hit on there, some of the marks were coming off the mat.
So, for example, if I go here, a lot of that divot is off the mat. So I kind of have to really pay attention to know, okay, that was inside out because I'm just looking at this side. I'd love it if it was maybe twice this width, too. I could see kind of the entire divot there. That would really be helpful.
Be handy. Another thing is the sequins are going to wear out. And when I first took this thing and hit it, I was like, Man, I'm not going to hit this. I'm going to make one swing at 100 miles an hour and these sequins are just going to slough off there and this thing is going to last more than one swing.
Well, this was a new board that I use for this video. And you can start to see some of those get slightly roughed up there. But if I grab an old board, you'll see it's perfectly usable even when it gets a little bit of wear on it. So now we're going to see one. This one's got about three, 400 hits on it.
The sequins get roughed up. It's not perfectly smooth after you hit it. But I mean, it works just as good as when it was brand new. So it's really not an issue. It also has a replacement pad. So there's another pad that you can buy and you see that on your screen. It's an insert and it's got a sticky bad backing. You just put it right on there. That way you don't have to buy a whole new unit every time you wear one of these out. So if you're practicing on this every day, you get thousands and thousands of hits on it. Eventually it will wear out and you can just replace that pad sort of buying whole new thing Now, you may have seen some other units like this.
Here's another one that does essentially the same thing. But you'll see when I when I do these, when I make a swipe on that, they get a little bit darker. They're easy to see. But even on these are not too tough to see. But even on these, this starts to come loose after a while. And you have to buy a whole new unit.
Same thing with this. And it doesn't really mark very easily. They're kind of hard to read. Whereas if you look at this dip board, that thing is like clear as day, right? You can really see what's happening with the divot I found with these other ones. I actually really like these other units, too. But this one is just way better.
It blows these out of the water because just so much easier to read the divots. And one of the other problems with this is, is a little bit above your feet. Now, I hear a lot of players say, well, you know, I don't like that something's above my feet. It's not the same level as my feet. Well, to be honest, it doesn't make a whole world of difference.
It is a little bit different when it's above your feet. But when you go out and you play golf, unless you're on the driving range, balls are constantly above your feet or below your feet. I found that players that can consistently hit the ground the same time on something like this are going to be players that can consistently hit the ground the same time.
No, matter what the ball position is or if it's a little bit higher. So do I wish it was kind of recessed in the mat or something like that? Yeah, that'd be kind of neat if you had that. But the trouble it would be to make that happen just really doesn't really result in and that much better shot.
So I wouldn't worry too much about it being above your feet like that. I don't think that plays much of affect here. The one thing that that I haven't mentioned so far that I do like about it is that it shows if you hit off the heel or the toe. So if I make a swing here and I hit it, I'll just make a little chip shot to demonstrate this.
If I hit that way off the toe, Now it's showing that I hit it off the toes. You see that the stripe here is basically my club coming through and would be hitting it off the toe of the ball. Or the toe of the club would be hitting the ball. There and it would be a bad strike, right?
So I'd be barely touching that. Same thing for the heel. So it's just pretty doggone good that you can have one device that works on all those different things for a variety of players, slicing, hooking, hitting thing, hitting heavy, hitting off the toe, hitting off the heel toe downhill down And what you'll find that sounds really complicated, but what I'd recommend doing set this thing down in your living room.
It's got these nice spikes on the bottom. See the set on carpet? It doesn't move around very much. This rubber spikes not going to mess up the floor or anything like that and make 50 swings a night. And what you'll find is maybe you'll start out like doing these slight swings where it's across the board every single time.
But once you've done this for three, four or five nights in a row and I've used this thing basically every day for the last week or so since I've had it, and I absolutely love this thing. But once you, what you'll find is you'll start to get straighter and straighter as you practice more. Or maybe your divots are way back here when you start.
I see some players that have divots that are six, seven, eight inches behind the golf ball when they start way back here like that and they're hitting everything really inconsistent. But then when they work on it more and more. Now, after getting that feedback, they get it right on the dot. Much, much more consistent just after a couple of weeks.
So if you work on it 10 minutes a day for a couple of weeks, you're going to start to really see your device change. You're going to see your performance on the golf course, change your time. So overall, Emily, enough with a heck of a product here. The first touch to be golf training or review. I'm going to give this one a 9.4.
That's about as that's probably as high of writing as I'll give any training that I've tested yet. And that's simply because it is so daggone good. It actually making you better, which is my number one thing. The replacements are fairly affordable. It's really durable. It's easy to use. You throw it in your golf bag in the long pocket of your golf bag.
You carry it around with you use it in your living room with or without a golf ball. It's like a poor man's track, man, basically. I mean, so to spend 20 grand on one of these, it does a lot of the same stuff. Just doesn't tell you everything that tells you. But it's not 20 grand also. That's pretty doggone good.
The last thing I would say that's hard about these is hard to find right now. I mean, they're going through so quick Seems like every time he gets them in stock, when I talk to the owner, they're sold out again like that. So if you have a chance to buy one, at least one. I'm making this video right now.
I would jump on it because these things are getting harder and harder to find as the word's getting out about them. But 9.4, that's my rating for the divot board. Can't wait to see in the next video. So if you want the diving board head down to the bottom of this page, you should see a big button there. Hopefully they're in stock for you right now.
But this is a heck of a cool device and I highly recommend it. You'd be crazy not to have one of these if you really care a lot about your golf game, you want to get better. I think this is a must have product. Best of luck. I can't wait for you to get your divot board and work through the top speed golf instructional videos together.
Let's go get started. I'll see you soon.
