G025. Golf Coordination Drills | Train at Home
In this video, you’ll learn some fun golf coordination drills that you can do from the comfort of your home.
Now, most of my videos cover the technical aspects of the swing.
Topics such as…
How to hit the ball farther…
How to fix your slice, etc.
But those topics only cover part of the game.
You need to develop your athleticism to get a feel for where the clubhead is…
What it feels like to control your loft and path to get the type of shots you want.
In this video, you’ll learn 5 fun athleticism drills.
Drill #1…
Set a ball on the ground and pick it up with wedge.
Start with your right hand only and scoop the ball to your left hand.
Switch the club to your left hand and do the same drill.
Note that if you’re right handed, you’ll likely have more trouble doing these drills with your left.
That’s the point!
You need to develop more athleticism with BOTH your hands.
Drill #2…
Scoop the ball and balance it on the face of your club.
Try to do this about 5 times with your right hand and left hand.
Drill #3…
Flick the ball up and bounce the ball 5 times on the face.
Again, the left hand is always going to be tougher but hang in there!
Drill #4…
Practice hitting easy, one arm chips into your sofa or a small chipping net.
Don’t try to hit it hard; I don’t want you breaking lamps and getting in trouble.
Drill #5…
Finally, I want you to practice a more advanced drill.
Similar to drill #3, bounce the ball on the face of your club…
But flip over the clubface (a complete 360 degree flip) and continue to bounce the ball on the clubface.
Watch this video now to learn some fun golf coordination drills that you can do at home…
…to develop your hand-eye coordination.
Building up your golf athleticism will pay off big time with your swing!
C004. Golf Consistency | 5 Day Practice Plan
In this video, you’ll get a great 5 day practice plan to improve your golf consistency.
Now, the very best golfers practice different shots to prepare themselves for all possible situations.
My 5 day plan is designed to help you prepare for all situations.
You’ll develop greater control of your club and you’ll improve your consistency.
Now, imagine that you just got to the course…
And your first shot of the day hooks when you were trying to hit it straight,…
Don’t worry — with the help of the drills in this video, you’ll know exactly how to tweak your swing to straighten it out.
Or maybe you find yourself in a situation that requires you to draw or fade the ball, or change the trajectory of the ball…
Again, no problem.
The drills in my 5 day plan will help you get better control of your golf club…
And will improve your consistency on the course.
If you follow these drills, you will lower your scores.
Below is a quick summary of the 5 day plan (make sure you watch the video to get all the details)…
Day 1
You’ll practice hitting shots with the club face closed and open to get better feel and control of your club face.
Finish the drill by hitting some balls straighter, but still using your club face to control the direction of the ball.
Day 2
Practice hitting shots adjusting your club path — in to out, and out to in.
Day 3
Practice hitting shots by working both your club face (open/closed) and club path.
Day 4
Practice what you learned in the previous 3 days to fine-tune your swing for perfect draw and fade shots.
Day 5
Practice hitting shots on different areas of the club face — more towards the toe for a draw and closer to the hosel for a fade.
Watch this video to get all the details of my 5 day plan.
You’ll develop a much better feel for your shots…
And you’ll improve your golf consistency!
