In this video, “Get More Distance over 50 | Secret in the Hips!”…
You’ll learn key drills to increase your mobility so you can make a powerful full turn.
Many older golfers struggle to make a full turn.
Hey, I hear you…
I’m under 50, and I’m not nearly as flexible as I was 20 years ago.
But the good news is that I’ve worked with hundreds of older golfers and guess what?
With a little bit of work you can increase your flexibility AND make a full turn in your swing!
First, let’s test your current mobility.
As you’ll see in the video, stand up straight with your hands out…
And rotate your arms and hips to see how far you can rotate back and forward.
You should be able to rotate at least 90 degrees back.
This may seem impossible, but the key is to allow your hips to rotate back as well.
Why is this test important?
It’s to prove that you can make a full turn.
Let me explain…
After years (or even decades) of playing golf, it’s common to develop bad swing habits and just think that you can’t make a full turn.
Or maybe you previously heard instruction that suggests that you shouldn’t rotate your hips in the backswing.
Once you know that you can get your shoulders to rotate 90 degrees standing straight up…
…then you should be able to do it in your swing as well.
Next in the video, you’ll get some great stretches to help you strengthen your core and help you prevent injuries.
