All right, so now we’re ready for the level 2 stable fluid spine test. So we’re going to build on level 1, we’re going to go ahead and set up to the golf ball here.
I want about 6° to 10° of tilt for my spine away. If you’re struggling with this, go back and watch the earlier videos.
Then as I rotate to the top and make a good full rotation to the top of the swing, and I’m going to maintain that same angle.
So I’m going to try to visualize my body almost like an X-ray, and I’m looking at my spine angle.
I’m going to mark that when I videotape my swing, and get that as close as I can to being 6° to 10° away at the top.
So now it’s very, very consistent from set up all the way to the top, we get a little shift to the right, but we’re not really changing our spine angle and we’re getting ready to have a great delivery position as we start the downswing.
Once this looks good on camera, go ahead and do about 3,000 reps to really ingrain this and to build the muscle memory.
If we short ourselves on the reps, we get it right on camera, maybe we only do a few hundred reps, then we’re going to deal with this problem later on because we don’t really have it solidified and ingrained in what’s called a neural pathway.
So we’re not really internalizing this motion. We want to make sure we get all those reps in.
So do the 3,000 reps, get it correct on camera, hit a lot of golf balls doing this, and you guys are going to be well on your way to a really solid golf swing.
Good luck to you guys.
